TPA has Once Again Received Zero Accident Award

Documentation by Katadata

SAMARINDA—PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN), or TPA, has once again received the 2024 Zero Accident Award from the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) on Friday, August 9, 2024. This award recognizes TPA's success in implementing the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) system in the Company's operational activities.

The 2024 Zero Accident Award received by TPA is outlined in the Decree of the Governor of East Kalimantan No. 100.3.3.1/K.233/2024 on the Designation of Recipients of the 2024 East Kalimantan Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Awards. This Decree was issued by the Acting Governor of East Kalimantan, Akmal Malik, on July 2, 2024.

TPA achieved the 2024 Zero Accident Award through the accomplishments of all its subsidiaries operating palm oil processing mills, including:

PT Cahaya Anugerah Plantation (Feliza Mill)

PT Multi Jayantara Abadi (Tanjung Harapan Mill)

PT Tanjung Buyu Perkasa Plantation (Talisayan Mill)

PT Telen Prima Sawit (Muara Bengkal Mill)

PT Telen (Pengadan Baay Mill and Bukit Permata Mill)

The Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE) Department manages the implementation of the OHS system in TPA's operational activities. It is responsible for developing policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and conducting audits. TPA has appointed OHS experts/Secretaries of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee (P2K3) to develop OHS programs, supervise their implementation, and organize P2K3 meetings.

This committee meets once a month. The Chairperson makes decisions based on the recommendations of the P2K3 Secretary. The goal is to ensure that TPA's operational activities run smoothly and with no accidents. To that end, P2K3 continues to carry out its duties, which include:

Collecting and processing data on OHS in the workplace.

Assisting in showing and explaining to each worker information and education related to OHS, such as proper and safe behavior, various hazards in the workplace, and more.

Assisting management in evaluating work methods, processes, and work environments.

Providing advice and considerations to employers or managers regarding occupational health and safety issues, whether requested or not.

In the future, TPA hopes that management can continue to use the established OHS system to ensure the safety of employees and non-employees in the Company's operational activities.
