Jakarta – PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TPA) has once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental compliance through the National Company Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management (PROPER) for the 2024–2025 assessment period. The rating was awarded by the Minister of Environment/Head of the Environmental Control Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPLH), through the Directorate General of Pollution and Environmental Damage Control, on April 24, 2026.

The National PROPER rating was awarded to three of TPA’s subsidiaries operating palm oil processing mills in East Kalimantan, namely:

PT Tanjung Buyu Perkasa Plantation

PT Telen Prima Sawit

PT Telen

All three subsidiaries received a Blue PROPER rating, which is awarded to companies that have implemented environmental management measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The National PROPER rating was granted based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment/Head of the Environmental Control Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1581 of 2026 concerning the Results of the Company Performance Rating Assessment in Environmental Management for the 2024–2025 period.

This compliance is supported by various initiatives to reduce environmental impacts, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction. As of the end of last year, TPA recorded a reduction of 67,750 tons of CO₂e in GHG emissions through methane capture at its biogas power plant (BPP), the utilization of biomass as a source of renewable energy, and energy efficiency initiatives across its operational units.

The utilization of biogas through the BPP is one of TPA’s initiatives to optimize resources generated from its operations while reducing methane emissions. This initiative also contributes to improving energy efficiency and reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Through the implementation of environmental management integrated into its operational activities, TPA continues to strengthen its environmental performance while creating long-term value for the Company and its stakeholders.
