Berau, July 14, 2026 – PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk participated in the Workshop and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony on Strengthening the Regulatory Framework for Disaster Management Cooperation between the Berau Regency Government and the Business Community, organized by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Berau Regency at Mercure Hotel Berau.
As one of the Company's operational areas, Berau Regency plays a strategic role in supporting PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk's business activities. Therefore, strengthening collaboration in disaster mitigation and emergency preparedness forms an integral part of the Company's commitment to ensuring sustainable operations while contributing to the resilience of local communities and the environment surrounding its operational areas.
The event aimed to strengthen collaboration between the regional government and the business sector in establishing an integrated, adaptive, and responsive disaster management system. Through cross-sector collaboration, stakeholders are expected to further enhance their preparedness and collective capacity to respond effectively to potential disasters across Berau Regency.
The event, initiated by the Berau Regency Government through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), was attended by the Assistant for Government Affairs and People's Welfare of the Berau Regency Government, the Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Berau Regency, the Head of the Legal Bureau of the Berau Regency Government, representatives from the Berau Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (Kodim), the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency, the Health Office, the National Unity and Political Agency (Kesbangpol), the Berau Regency Fire and Rescue Department, the Production Forest Management Unit (KPHP), the Social Affairs Office, the Plantation Agency, all sub-district heads across Berau Regency, as well as representatives of companies operating within the regency.
The program commenced with a workshop on strengthening the regulatory framework for disaster management cooperation, followed by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a shared commitment to enhancing coordination, communication, and the collaborative utilization of resources in responding to disaster situations.
