Jakarta - PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TPA) believes that employee health is a fundamental aspect that must be guaranteed by the company. One of the ways to ensure this is by enrolling all employees in the National Health Insurance (JKN) program, including those working at its subsidiaries. In recognition of this commitment, PT Cahaya Anugerah Plantation (CAP), one of TPA’s subsidiaries, received the Satya JKN Awards 2025, organized by the Social Security Administrator for Health (BPJS Kesehatan) in Jakarta on October 14, 2025.

BPJS Kesehatan President Director Ghufron Mukti explained that the award aims to strengthen the ecosystem of compliance and sustainability in the JKN program while acknowledging 110 companies that have demonstrated outstanding commitment in fulfilling their obligations under the JKN program. According to him, such compliance is not merely an administrative requirement, but rather a reflection of care and moral responsibility in protecting employees’ health and supporting the sustainability of the JKN program.

“This achievement shows that businesses play a vital role in realizing universal health coverage and maintaining the continuity of the JKN program by ensuring all their employees are registered and their contributions are paid regularly,” said Ghufron, as quoted from BPJS Kesehatan’s official statement.

Ghufron added that employee health protection is the foundation of a company’s sustainability. When employees feel safe and protected, productivity increases and loyalty grows. He emphasized that the true meaning of compliance in the JKN program lies not only in obligation but also in awareness and moral responsibility toward collective well-being.

TPA consistently emphasizes its commitment to ensuring health protection for all employees across its subsidiaries. This initiative is part of the company’s sustainable palm oil policy (Kebijakan Sawit Lestari/KSL), particularly under the socio-territorial pillar, which serves as a strategic foundation for implementing comprehensive social responsibility. In terms of health coverage, TPA, through its subsidiaries, provides health benefits not only for employees but also for their spouses and children. These benefits are available to both permanent and contract employees.

For TPA and its subsidiaries, health is a top priority. Beyond health insurance coverage, the company also provides comprehensive healthcare services, including access to medical facilities, disease prevention programs, routine health check-ups, and emergency as well as family healthcare services. Through this approach, TPA ensures that employees’ health and well-being are maintained even amid the operational challenges of plantation locations.
