SINGAPORE – PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN), or TPA, has received the Best Under A Billion award from Forbes Asia. The award was presented directly by the Vice Chairman of Forbes Media, Christopher Forbes, to TPA’s Director of Finance, Accounting, and Tax, Mahirudin, at the Forbes Asia Best Under A Billion Forum & Awards Dinner held at Equarius Hotel Ballroom, Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore, on Monday, November 25, 2025.
Best Under A Billion is awarded to public companies in the Asia-Pacific region with 2024 annual sales between US$10 million and US$1 billion. For this award, Forbes Asia screened more than 19,000 public companies, then selected 200 companies with strong financial performance, consistent growth, and good corporate governance. Among all the recipients, only 10 publicly listed companies from Indonesia were included, one of which is TLDN.
In the Forbes Asia Best Under A Billion company list published on August 4, 2025, Forbes Asia conducted a quantitative assessment using a composite score based on metrics such as debt growth, sales/revenue, net profit, earnings per share for the past one to three fiscal years, as well as average equity over the past one to five years. Qualitative screening was also applied, excluding companies with serious governance issues, questionable accounting practices, environmental problems, management issues, or recent legal cases.
Mahirudin stated that in every business practice, TLDN is committed to implementing prudent financial management based on the principle of caution, through measured budget planning, strict internal and external monitoring, and the application of transparent and accountable financial reporting standards. This approach ensures financial stability, risk mitigation, and sustainable achievement of the company’s long-term goals.
“The inclusion of TLDN in the Forbes Asia Best Under A Billion award recipients is undoubtedly the result of the hard work and dedication of all employees and subsidiaries in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. As a public company, we continue striving to maintain accountable growth in financial and operational performance, while complying with applicable regulations,” said Mahirudin.
For information, TLDN reported its 2024 financial performance with revenue of IDR 4.21 trillion and net profit of IDR 825.59 billion, each growing 5.1% and 82.7% year-on-year, respectively.
