JAKARTA—PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TPA) held an online anti-corruption seminar for employees on Friday, November 29, 2024. This event was the third episode of Teladan Talks, featuring the theme "Stop Corruption: Implementing Anti-Corruption, Anti-Bribery, and Ethical Business Practices."

This session of Teladan Talks featured Dr. Yenti Garnasih, SH, MH, criminal law and money laundering expert. Yenti emphasized the importance of implementing anti-corruption behavior in business operations to establish a legally sound and well-governed company.

According to Yenti, a "clean" company will build a good reputation among stakeholders, including investors, which attracts capital and investments essential for company development. Therefore, all employees, from junior staff to senior management, must uphold an anti-corruption culture as a reflection of the company's integrity.

"Corruption is not just about financial losses to the state but involves unethical, dishonest, and unlawful acts aimed at personal or others' gain," Yenti said.

She highlighted the importance of honesty and accountability in every employee's actions. By rejecting all forms of corruption, such as bribery, data manipulation, and abuse of authority, employees protect the company's reputation and foster a fair and healthy work environment.

Implementing the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 37001—an anti-bribery management system standard released in 2016—is crucial for the company. A robust system enables companies to better monitor and enforce anti-corruption measures in the workplace.
