JAKARTA - Welcoming its 20th anniversary on June 1, 2024, PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN), or TPA, has organized a blood donation event on February 19, 2024, at Beltway Office Park (BOP), Jakarta. This social activity manifests TPA's gratitude as an agribusiness company operating for two decades.
In collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), the blood donation held at TPA's headquarters consisted of 70 registered individuals. As a result, 42 bags of blood will be provided to those in need within the community.
The blood donation activity by TPA was conducted by the procedures established by PMI, including the following stages: registration phase (filling out registration forms and health questionnaires); preliminary examination phase (measuring body weight, checking blood haemoglobin levels, and blood typing for first-time donors); the health examination phase is done by a doctor (medical history, blood pressure measurement, blood sample collection).
Subsequently, after the pre-donation procedures were completed, TLDN employees carried out the blood donation phase (cleaning the donor's arm, blood extraction, and blood sample collection) and the administrative phase (issuing donor cards and vitamins). Finally, in the recovery phase (donors were advised to rest).
