JAKARTA – PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TPA) held their annual blood donation on August 23, 2024, at the TPA headquarters, Beltway Office Park (BOP), Jakarta. This social action was conducted in commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.
TPA's blood donation was a collective effort, made possible by the participation of our community. The 75 bags of blood collected from this activity, along with the 103 registrants, both eligible and ineligible, are a testament to the spirit of giving that defines us. We thank each and every one of you for your contribution to this noble cause.
The blood donation activity by TPA was carried out by the procedures applicable at PMI (Palang Merah Indonesia / Indonesia Red Cross), including the registration stage (filling out the registration form and health questionnaire), the preliminary examination stage (weight measurement, blood hemoglobin level examination, blood typing for first-time donors), and the health examination stage by a doctor (medical history, blood pressure check, blood sample collection).
After completing the pre-donation procedures, employees proceeded with the blood donation stage (arm washing, blood collection, blood sample collection), the administration stage (receiving a donor card and vitamins), and finally, the recovery stage (donors are advised to rest).
As information, this is the second TPA’s blood donation event for this year. The first one was organized in February 2024. TPA remains committed to conducting social activities as part of our social actions.
