JAKARTA— PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN) continues to uphold its financial performance amid various challenges in the palm oil industry and the broader economy. This commitment has earned TLDN a place in the ‘Best Under A Billion 2025’ list by Forbes Asia, published on August 4, 2025.
The annual list features 200 publicly listed companies across the Asia-Pacific region with annual sales between US$10 million and US$1 billion, recognized for their solid financial performance, consistent growth, and good corporate governance. Out of more than 19,000 public companies screened, only 10 hail from Indonesia, and fewer than five are from the agriculture sector — including TLDN.

“The companies on this unranked list were selected based on a composite score using measures such as debt, sales and earnings-per-share growth over both the most recent fiscal one- and three-year periods, and the strongest one- and five-year average return on equity. Aside from quantitative criteria, qualitative screens were applied, such as excluding companies with serious governance issues, questionable accounting practices, environmental concerns, management problems or legal troubles in recent years,” according to Forbes Asia’s official website.
This recognition reflects TLDN’s ability to sustain steady growth in sales and net income despite a challenging economic environment. In 2024, the company reported revenue of Rp 4.21 trillion and net income of Rp 825.59 billion, representing year-on-year growth of 5.1% and 82.7% respectively. The positive momentum continued into the first half of 2025, with revenue rising 36.7% YoY and net income surging 108.6% YoY.
“Being included in this list is the result of the hard work of all employees and management in upholding good governance and sustainable business practices. As a public company, we strive to ensure accountable financial and operational growth while complying with applicable regulations. We continue to innovate to deliver the best outcomes for all stakeholders,” said Wishnu Wardhana, President Director of PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk.
In 2024, TLDN strengthened its operational capacity by developing a Kernel Crushing Plant (KCP) and a Biogas Power Plant (BPP). The operation of these facilities not only maximizes resource efficiency and output but also plays an active role in emission reduction and responsible waste management.
The KCP optimizes the processing of palm kernels into high-value products, while the BPP converts palm oil mill effluent (POME) into renewable energy, reducing methane emissions and lowering reliance on fossil fuels. These innovations form an important foundation in TLDN’s long-term strategy to advance a circular economy, contribute to mitigating climate change, and create sustainable value for future generations.
